Influenza 'Flu' Exposure

Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. Exposure to the flu occurs when individuals come into contact with respiratory droplets from infected people, usually through coughing, sneezing, or talking. It can also spread by touching contaminated surfaces and then touching the face, particularly the eyes, nose, or mouth. Flu exposure can lead to symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, and fatigue. Vaccination and good hygiene practices like frequent handwashing can help reduce the risk of flu exposure and transmission.
